Meet Dr Tika Kumari Gurung, our Senior Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF Specialist, who brings over 12 years of exceptional expertise in obstetrics, gynaecology, and infertility management to our Pokhara clinic.
Dr Gurung’s stellar clinical experience is backed by rigorous academic and specialised training. After earning her MBBS and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she completed a prestigious Fellowship in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) to specialise in advanced fertility care. Always looking to expand her impact, she has also undertaken specialised training in Comprehensive Abortion Care, Faculty Development, and Health Responses to Gender-Based Violence.
Her distinguished career spans key medical and academic institutions across Nepal. Before leading the team at Vatsalya Pokhara, she served as a dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the renowned Paropakar Maternity Hospital in Kathmandu and shaped the next generation of medical professionals as an academic faculty member at Gandaki Medical College.
Beyond the clinic walls, she is a passionate advocate for women’s health, actively leading community-level initiatives to spread vital fertility awareness and empower women with the knowledge they need.
