Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

• Assist gynecologists during procedures such as IUI, Ovum Pick-Up (OPU), Embryo Transfer (ET), and other ART treatments.
• Monitor patients pre- and post-operatively, ensuring comfort, safety, and quick recovery.
• Perform and record vitals, injections, IV lines, cannulation, and medication administration.
• Support during ultrasound scans, follicular monitoring, and diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain sterile conditions during all procedures and ensure infection control protocols are followed.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient observations, medication, and progress in EMR or paper records.

Patient Care & Counseling:

• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, medication schedules, and post-procedure care.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to anxious or distressed patients.
• Assist in obtaining informed consents and explaining procedural steps clearly.

Operational Support:

• Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and medications before each treatment session.
• Maintain inventory of consumables, medicines, and emergency supplies, alert administration for restocking.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste in compliance with protocols.

Team Coordination:

• Collaborate with doctors, embryologists, lab staff, and administrative teams for seamless patient flow.
• Participate in team meetings, training programs, and CMEs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing degree from a recognized institution.
• Valid Nursing Council registration.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hospital/clinic.
• Good interpersonal skills, empathy, and patient-focused approach.
• Willingness to work in shifts and during weekends if required.

• Experience with patient counseling regarding fertility treatment options and family planning.
