Dr Shrestha’s specialised expertise in advanced fertility care is built on a highly rigorous international academic foundation. After earning her MBBS from Nepal Medical College and Teaching Hospital, she completed her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Manila, Philippines. Driven by a passion for reproductive medicine, she went on to complete a prestigious Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Hedge Hospital and Fertility Centre in Hyderabad, India, alongside advanced IVF training in India. She has also completed specialised short-term certifications in Colposcopy and Implanon insertion.
Her distinguished career spans prominent medical institutions across both eastern Nepal and the capital. Before stepping into her current role, she served as a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Birtamode, Jhapa. Today, she brings this exceptional cross-border experience directly to our patients at Vatsalya Natural IVF Centre in Kathmandu, where she blends cutting-edge endocrinology science with an individualised, compassionate approach to help families achieve their dreams.
